*Glass bowls or vases filled with Betta fish and plants

*Record albums you like placed upright in a triangle of three--punch and tie them together on the sides

*Postcards or photos from travels you've taken or your honeymoon location--these can be in color or black and white. They can be displayed in different sizes of acrylic frames (which are very inexpensive at places like Walmart) for a unique arrangement on the table. *Photos of the couple in various activities--black and white or color--can also be played in various sizes of acrylic frames for personal centerpieces

Hire an ice sculptor to make small--less than 1 foot tall--ice sculptures for each table. Set on a small pedestal and surround with evergreen bows or silver tinsel garland. Swans are traditional, or use other themes of the season. If a sculptor is out of your budget, make your own ice centerpiece. Fill a bundt pan 1/3 full of water. Tint with food coloring and freeze. Remove from the freezer and top the ice with small ornaments, foil confetti and plastic snowflakes. Fill with water until the pan is 2/3 full. Freeze solid. Right before the reception place clear glass bowls filled with water on each table. Float the ice wreath in the bowl.

Crisp white lilies make elegant centerpieces. Coat an inexpensive vase in plain white glue. Coat thoroughly in silver and light blue glitter. Let dry then shake off the excess glitter. Tie a blue ribbon around one end of a small pine cone then tie the ribbon around the neck of the vase. Display the lilies in the vase.

* Small metal pails (one for each favor)
* Votive candles (one for each favor)
* Sand
* Small seashells
* Scissors
* Ribbon (1/4 to 1/2 inch wide, white or in a color that compliments your wedding décor)
* Spray paint (optional)

1. Purchase small metal pails that are large enough to insert a votive candle. There should be at least 1 inch between the candle and the sides of the pail. You can typically find these pails at craft stores.
2. Spray paint the pails to match your wedding décor, if desired. If you can find pails that match your wedding colors, you can consider yourself lucky and skip this step. You can also stencil beach themed shapes (such as shells, palm trees or beach balls) on the pails if desired.
3. Fill the bottom of each pail with 1 inch of sand. You can buy sand at a craft store or less expensive "play sand" at a home improvement store. You may also consider collecting sand from the very beach you are going to be married on to personalize your favors.
4. Put a votive candle in each pail and press them into the sand.
5. Arrange seashells around each votive, filling the space between the candle and the pail. You can buy seashells at a craft store or collect them from the beach.
6. Cut an 8- to 12-inch piece of ribbon for each favor. You can adjust the length based on the desired look. For a larger bow, cut a longer piece.
7. Tie a bow around the handle of each pail. You can tie it in the center of the handle or where the handle is attached to the pail.

* 1 large conch shell per table

* 3 to 4 medium votive or cylinder candles per table, (long-burning, any color, unscented)
* Loose crystal decorations (1/2 inch found at craft stores)
* Sand (can be colored or natural)
* Small wedding favor boxes (1 per guest)
* 2-inch ribbon (any color, enough to tie each wedding favor box)
* Flat shells or starfish to glue on wedding favor box (1 per guest)
* Tissue paper (color of your choice)
* Jordan almonds (about 1 lb per 12 guests)
* Craft glue
* Permanent markers in gold and silver

How To Make Shell Wedding Centerpiece and Table Decorations

1. Fill each centerpiece bowl three-quarters of the way with sand.

2. Place candles halfway into the sand.

3. Place shells and starfish in the sand. Have some of the starfish and shells sticking up out of the sand, some laying on the sand. Sprinkle crystals--they will catch the candle glow.

4. With a pencil, draw a small heart in the sand with your initials.

5. Sprinkle the small shells and crystals on each table, around the centerpiece.

How To Make Shell Wedding Favors

1. Assemble each wedding favor box, per instructions.

2. Glue 2-inch ribbon around each box, making sure ribbon is even and there are no bubbles. Start at the front so that the seam is on the exact front of the box.

3. Glue a flat shell or starfish onto the ribbo/n on the front of each box, covering the seam.

4. Cut the tissue paper into small squares and line the boxes with the tissue paper squares.

5. Fill the boxes halfway with Jordan Almonds (or any other candy or treat you choose).
